What is wrong with people? Someone takes the time to make a Christmas card for someone else....they comb through hundreds and hundreds of pictures on their computer, print out the perfect picture of the recipient as a child, place said picture in a store bought frame-type card that they BOUGHT (a very nice one, at that), and mail it to them........and all that recipient can say is "That's not me?" When, in fact, IT IS!!! They apparently argue with the sender to the point where the sender is frustrated and upset.....because the recipient can't recognize themselves in a picture.
Can we say stupid and tacky? Someone took the time to make and send a card and all they can do is to criticize. I wouldn't care what the picture was of.....and this one was correct.....there should be some gratitude! Somebody THOUGHT about you!!! Somebody took the TIME AND MONEY and invested in your friendship. Nice return, buddy.

I should do that sometime.... scan in pics for cards. I keep forgetting about the idea.
ReplyDeleteOMG - I just thought of one. ROFL I have this pic of my little brother who was like 3 at the time dressed in the outfit from a Holly Hobbie doll that was about his size. That would be a hoot to send out next Christmas with Happy Holly Hobbie Days.
