Grey

It’s a very grey day.  It’s been this way for a day or two.  It sucks.  Normally, I enjoy a grey day or two here and there.  The grey days seem to bring me down a little more then usual, lately.  I have a hard time being motivated to do much of anything and trying to get the kids motivated is nearly impossible.

Perhaps we can get motivated to make Christmas cookies.  We’ll see.  Sometimes I think that having the computers available make us all lazy.  Well, actually, I KNOW having the computers around makes us lazy.  Particularly lazy on a grey day like today!  I guess I could send the kids out to scoop dog poop.  The backyard looks like a minefield!  Poops everywhere!

I wouldn’t feel so bad about the grey if we had snow on the ground.  If you wanted to get technical, we really do have snow on the ground….see those tiny spots of almost white in the picture above?  That’s snow.  I really need a blizzard.

It’s just a grey, grey, grey day.  blah.  Like my mood.  (That’s where my 4 or 5 raised beds are going, by the way….and there is a corner of my raspberry bed on the right).

I need snow…………. or The Zac Brown Band singing to me.  Good idea!  Crank up the Youtube!

Ahhhhhh!  We need a beach party!!!!  LOL  (I have plans for one on Gretchen’s Birthday in January).

  1. grey here, not looking like we'll have snow for Christmas. We got some flakes this morning but the temp wasn't going to stay low enough to keep them.
I really want to put raised beds in my garden. There are two problems: one, buying the wood but more importantly, I'd need like a truckload of good dirt. Probably one of the reasons why I don't get the greatest crops.
